At Dokkana Gemstones, our journey began since 2016 — not in a showroom, but in the quiet fascination with the beauty of nature’s treasures. What started as a personal passion for collecting gemstones soon became a mission to bring authenticity, education, and artistry back into the gemstone world.
Our founders — both accredited colored gemstone graders from the International Gemological Institute (IGI) — began with nothing more than a shared curiosity and a small collection of gemstones. Like many gemstone lovers, we faced the sting of deception early on when we were cheated from the gemstones suppliers. That moment ignited a lifelong commitment: to protect others from such experiences by ensuring every gemstone we offer is 100% natural, ethically sourced, and accurately represented.
In 2016, during the brand's early years,Mr. Mohamed Ismail launched a humble online. Sourcing old stock from trusted traders, he reinvested every bit of profit to grow — learning, refining, and building a reputation along the way. Over the years, Dokkana Gemstones evolved from a small side project into a respected name in Egypt’s gemstone community.
We refuse to deal in synthetic or fake stones. Every gemstone is carefully inspected by trained eyes, and while not every stone comes with a certificate, all pass through a rigorous gemological examination. Our IGI certification means we work with the same high standards trusted by global gemological institutions.
In 2021, we opened our first physical shop and expanded into designing and handcrafting our own gemstone jewelry. Each piece of jewelery is thoughtfully created — and finished carefully by hand — always blending natural beauty with wearable artistry. Many of our designs are inspired by nature, capturing the essence of the stones they hold.
